This is my camp / skinning hatchet. Its small enough to carry in a back pack to a remote area and not notice the extra weight . When you start using this hatchet , you will wonder how you ever got along with out it .
Blade steel = 440C
Blade cutting edge = Approx. 3 inches
Overall length = 10 inches
Handles , This one is Black and green linen Micarta. I prefer to use a durable material like Micarta because of the heavy duty use . This material will hold up to most anything you toss at it.
